If your business is participating in MarylandSaves you do not need to complete this form.
We will automatically notify SDAT that you qualify for the Annual Report Filing Fee waiver.

In order to receive the 2024 SDAT Annual Report Fee waiver, you must complete this form by December 1, 2023. Completed forms received after December 1, 2023 will qualify for the 2025 SDAT Annual Report Filing Fee waiver.

Please note that in order to qualify for the SDAT Annual Report Filing Fee waiver your business must:
1) Have at least one W-2 employee
2) Enroll with MarylandSaves or offer another payroll-deducted retirement savings program

required to choose one of the following
An employer-sponsored retirement plan includes a plan qualified under Internal Revenue Code sections 401(a) (including a 401(k) plan), qualified annuity plan under section 403(a), tax-sheltered annuity plan under section 403(b), Simplified Employee Pension plan under section 408(k), a SIMPLE IRA plan under section 408(p), or governmental deferred compensation plan under section 457(b). It does not include payroll deduction IRAs.
Businesses that participate in the MarylandSaves program or offer another qualified retirement option for their employees will qualify for a waiver of their SDAT Annual Report Filing Fee. To qualify for your waiver, please enter your SDAT Account Number here.
