Thank you for filing your certification for the Annual Report Filing Fee Waiver. You will receive an automated email confirmation from MarylandSaves after you submit this form.
Save the email for your records. It will provide a record of when you filed your fee waiver request and include all the information you entered on the form. We will share the information that you have provided with the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT), which will issue the Annual Report Filing Fee Waivers.
PLEASE NOTE: All business entities must also be “IN GOOD STANDING” with SDAT to receive the fee waiver. Business owners can find their Annual Report Filing Fee status by searching for their business on Maryland Business Express. If your business has been approved to receive the fee waiver, it will be indicated near the middle of your business’s General Information tab. See the red-circled example below. If your business is not in good standing, you can learn how to regain good standing status here.
MarylandSaves staff will begin uploading a list of businesses that have properly submitted the fee waiver request forms for the current calendar year in July. A link to that list is at the bottom of the homepage at marylandsaves.org. If your business’s name is on this list AND your business is in good standing with SDAT, you will be qualified to receive the fee waiver for the following calendar year.
